** Job Description
** In the late 1970’s, the Bose home audio business was off and running! Our founder, Dr. Amar Bose, sat in an office at MIT, musing with a colleague about a new idea. When crafting speakers for the home, it was impossible to account for the acoustics of the room those speakers sat in, where they were placed, and where they were in relation to the listener.

But in the automobile cabin, you could account for all three. So, it would stand to reason that a sound system specifically crafted for a certain audio cabin could drastically improve the in-car audio experience. And when in 1982, the first Cadillac Seville rolled off the line with the first factory installed, Bose custom-designed audio system ever, the potential of Dr.

Bose’s idea was realized!

Today, we work with automobile Manufacturers across the globe to deliver outstanding audio-based experiences and more, applying thoughtfully coordinated and meticulously engineered loudspeakers, amplifiers, and signal processing. At Bose, we recognize test development as an engineering field with unique technical challenges distinct from product development.
** How you’ll make an impact:
*** Develop System Qualification and Integration Tests
* Develop a keen understanding of the technology to be tested as well as the test equipment capabilities and limitations
* Ensure requirements are clear and testable
* Devise methods of fully testing the system and integration requirements when not all interfaces are exposed for test
* Write clear and useful test cases
* Ensure tests are:  + Repeatable  + Accurate  + Appropriately precise
*
* Minimum Requirements:

*** Bachelor's degree or equivalent in EE or SW
* 5+ years test engineering experience
* Broad technical skills across multiple domains including  + Test methodologies  + Test equipment & programming  + Requirement writing  + Test case writing  + Software  + Hardware
** Nice to have skills:
*** Automotive Experience
* ASPICE* Vehicle Electronic Architectures
* Audio Processing
* MBSE Tools (e.g. SysML)

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is: $107,300-$147,425.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may  addition to competitive base pay we offer rewards including bonus programs, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, a 401(k) plan, plus exclusive perks designed to support your wellbeing, and a generous employee discount where you can immerse yourself in our products and experiences.
