Engineering Manager | Mason, MI
Salary Range: $110,000 - $159,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring project success.
- Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for production challenges and efficiency improvements.
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and documentation for the manufacturing facility.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning for engineering departments.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, advanced robotics) and their application in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and team leads.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive).
