Senior Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for technical products and solutions
• Develop and present value propositions to potential customers
• Work with internal teams to validate product concepts and prototypes against customer requirements
• Support quoting activities, including cost development and pricing recommendations
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to secure customer commitments
• Assist in developing product and market strategies based on customer and competitor insights
• Participate in project and program reviews and cross-functional meetings
• Transition validated opportunities to account or program management teams
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout early development stages

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, sales engineering, or technical sales
• Experience in industries such as aerospace, industrial, or similar technical markets preferred
• Strong technical background with ability to interpret customer specifications
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and financial awareness skills
• Ability to travel as needed
