Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with 10+ years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure, VMware virtualization, and network support. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking, VMware technologies, Pure Storage, and network troubleshooting in enterprise environments.

This is an onsite role in Ann Arbor, MI. The position will start as a 1-year contract with the possibility of becoming a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure
Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues
Manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless devices
Support LAN/WAN environments and network security
Administer VMware environments and virtualization infrastructure
Work with Pure Storage technologies
Support VMware Auto Deploy and system provisioning
Perform upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution
Maintain network documentation and configurations

Required Skills

10+ years of Network Engineering experience
Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies
Hands-on experience with VMware and virtualization
Experience with Pure Storage
Knowledge of VMware Auto Deploy
Strong understanding of:
- Routing & Switching
- TCP/IP
- VLAN
- DNS
- DHCP
- VPN
- OSPF/BGP
Experience with firewalls and network security
Good troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

CCNA / CCNP certification is a plus
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls preferred
Experience with SD-WAN and wireless technologies is a plus
