Power Electronics Development Intern (Internship - Summer 2026)
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Assist with testing of traction motors, inverters, converters, and charging modules.
- Help prepare test equipment, gather measurements, and record test results.
- Support data analysis and simulation tasks for xEV system architecture evaluation.
- Participate in benchmarking competitor vehicles and documenting findings.
- Assist with quality investigations under engineer supervision.
- Help prepare presentations and technical summaries for internal use.
THE ROLE
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Foundational knowledge of electrified propulsion components and systems.
- Basic skills in data analysis tools (Excel, MATLAB).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Interest in electric vehicle technologies and innovation.
- Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai KIA must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
