Maintenance Supervisor-Lab Operations R&D

• Own PTT Lab Ops maintenance processes, including planned maintenance execution, preparation, specification, and unplanned maintenance/problem resolution.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety standards, including timely verification, documentation, and reporting.
• Supervise and develop Lab Ops maintenance technicians, managing recruitment, training, resource allocation, performance and career development.
• Plan spares and consumables inventory for scheduled and emergency maintenance.
• Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting as part of the Toyota Safety Management Plan.
• Drive continuous improvement of maintenance processes, KPI tracking and standard work documentation.
• Represent the PTT department in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual meetings, serving as the primary subject‑matter expert.
• Collaborate with internal Toyota groups and external regulatory bodies on maintenance best practices and emerging requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (trade‑school certificates accepted).
• Minimum 8 years of experience supervising vehicle or powertrain lab testing, 24/7/365 facility operations, and driving process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 safety, Toyota Safety Management System, and automotive testing equipment (chassis, engine, transmission dynos, emissions analyzers).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and test‑cell automation software.
• Experience with regulatory compliance (CFR, EPA, CARB). Knowledge of battery electric and fuel‑cell technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work second shift, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime; travel up to 5% of time.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong command of the Toyota Way, 5S, TPS, and continuous improvement.
