This position supports advanced power generation projects within the Power Providers Market Sector, focusing on site development tasks such as grading, drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities. The role involves creating and modifying detailed engineering deliverables using industry-standard design tools including Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley Micro Station, and Bentley Open Plant Modeler.

• Apply knowledge of standards, codes, and company policies to develop technical deliverables.
• Review project requirements to determine correct format and contents for deliverables.
• Implement the BV Quality Program to ensure accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Review design inputs for consistency and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Develop moderately complex design concepts and solutions, applying foundational engineering principles.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers and technicians.
• Review deliverables of others when required.
• Define work assignments and maintain schedules.
• Participate in plant start-up activities related to a specialized area of expertise.
• Coordinate with design group personnel to exchange project information.
• Support field activities with a focus on internal client needs.
• Seek and share knowledge of latest technologies and processes.
• Perform design calculations, material quantities and estimates, and record results.

• Diploma or Certificate.
• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology.

• Typically a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, including background checks.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
