The OpportunityThis opportunity with Black & Veatch offers the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Governments & Communities (G&C) Market Sector, supporting Water and Industrial Water projects and delivering critical infrastructure for municipal and industrial clients. Mechanical (piping) professionals contribute to project execution by developing and modifying piping layouts and models for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
This includes coordinating system routing and interfaces with process equipment, structures, and underground utilities to ensure constructable and efficient designs.
The Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) Assistant Engineering Technician plays a key role in supporting the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects. Under close supervision, this position performs technical tasks requiring basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on developing and updating 3D piping layouts and model-based drawings using Autodesk Revit.
