Description Overview:
The Continuous Improvement Engineer provides technical support related to incident/deviation investigations for all commercialized products at Perrigo facilities within Michigan.
Scope of the Role:- Provide technical expertise to identify root causes of incidents and deviations
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate investigations and ensure timely resolution
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential improvements in manufacturing processes
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related)
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and manufacturing processes
- Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work with staff at all levels; strong technical writing
- Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations, including experience with investigations and/or developing/recommending process improvements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); SAP experience preferred
- Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects with minimal guidance and meet deadlines
