Angott Search Group is proud to partner with a respected Michigan CUSO in the search for a Commercial Credit Analyst. This role is ideal for an experienced credit professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys balancing thoughtful risk management with strategic portfolio growth.
The Commercial Credit Analyst is responsible for comprehensive commercial credit analysis, underwriting, and ongoing portfolio support while partnering closely with Relationship Managers and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze commercial and small business financial statements and credit data
- Prepare detailed underwriting packages, risk ratings, and loan committee presentations
- Partner with Relationship Managers to structure and negotiate loan terms
- Ensure compliance with NCUA regulations and internal policies
- Conduct borrower reviews and support portfolio risk monitoring
- Maintain complete and accurate credit files
- Collaborate with Documentation and Portfolio Management for smooth loan transitions
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Formal credit training required
- 4–7 years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial underwriting and risk evaluation
- Understanding of NCUA regulations
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical abilities
