Job Description
- Provides analysis and interpretation of the customers' financial status for proper evaluation of risk and the establishment of proper credit limits.
- Interacts with sales support, customer service, and accounts receivable in reconciling accounts.
- Prepares recommendations and makes credit approval decisions on new accounts.
- Analyzes and reports on credit memo and write-off activity.
- Monitors and communicates credit concerns to management.
- Updated to SAP S4 Hana project cost center.
- This role is focused on policy decisions/judgment regarding credit offers.
- Collections Analyst Support (70% Collections / 30% AR & Analytics)
- Heavy reliance on Excel for validation work.
- Schedule:
Hours 8 AM to 5 PM but flexible.
- High School Diploma acceptable with solid experience.
- Degree optional unless candidate has very limited experience.
- Ideal: 4-5+ years if no degree.
- Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong AR/AP, collections, order to cash cycle understanding.
- Industry flexible (automotive, healthcare, banking all OK).
- Excel Skills (Intermediate)
- Pivot tables
- VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
- Basic formulas
- Word Suite.
- Ability to self‑manage & prioritize.
- Must be able to jump in, keep up, and independently manage tasks.
- Strong initiative and time management.
- Minimum: 3 years AR/AP, collections, or credit related experience.
- Any familiarity with SAP upgrade or implementation workflows (bonus).
- Only basic T codes expected.
- Industry Background:
Healthcare;
Automotive;
Banking (collections or credit analysis);
General AR/AP professionals. - Can pivot between collection tasks and analyst tasks weekly.
- Experience is prioritized over education.

401(k) Plan: The Synectics Inc. Investment Savings Retirement Plan. Synectics offers all employees who are 21 years of age or older the opportunity to invest in the 401(k) Plan on the first enrollment date that is at least 30 days after employment begins. Enrollment dates are each January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.
Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.
It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
