Our client, a large distribution company in the Metro Detroit area, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and planning and working with Operations business partners.
Responsibilities- Support role in month end close, monthly financial statement analysis/preparation, and operations reporting, supporting multiple business units
- Support preparation of annual budget and update forecasts on a monthly basis or as needed
- Work closely with Business Unit team to identify and address risks and opportunities
- Maintain the analysis on production spending/efficiency compared to plan
- 2-5 years of finance experience in a mid-sized or large company
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- Expert in Excel knowledge, Pivot Tables, Vlookup and SUMIF formulas
- Working knowledge of large ERP system
