Job Description
Robert Half is partnering with one of our elite clients, a leading organization in the automotive industry, to find a talented Accounts Receivable Cost Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's financial success. Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting price walk backs and analysis of job costing to ensure accuracy and identify potential cost savings opportunities.
- Perform variance analysis to evaluate and report on discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and provide insights on cost-related matters.
- Utilize your advanced Excel skills to create and maintain financial models, perform data analysis, and generate reports.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of general accounting practices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts receivable function.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable or accounts payable environment.
- Alternatively, 5 or more years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
- Experience assisting with price walk backs, job costing analysis, and variance analysis is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
- Solid understanding of general accounting practices and principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
