Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting price walk backs and analysis of job costing to ensure accuracy and identify potential cost savings opportunities.
• Perform variance analysis to evaluate and report on discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and provide insights on cost-related matters.
• Utilize your advanced Excel skills to create and maintain financial models, perform data analysis, and generate reports.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of general accounting practices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts receivable function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable or accounts payable environment.
• Alternatively, 5 or more years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience assisting with price walk backs, job costing analysis, and variance analysis is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Solid understanding of general accounting practices and principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
