Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Carrera Capital Advisors investment team. This role will be responsible for investment operations support. We are looking for an individual that has the ability to pull and organize data from a multitude of sources. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced working environment utilizing research and problem‑solving skills in a solution focused environment.

This individual will support the investment team with paperwork generation, account maintenance, and client correspondence.

Carrera Capital Advisors is a fast‑growing Financial Planning and Investment Management firm. It has a boutique family feel, but the sophistication of a large enterprise. We have a high‑performance culture and are looking for individuals fueled by personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Collect and organize investment data into detailed reports
  • Present findings of reports to advisors or other members of the investment team
  • Open new accounts
  • Scanning and archiving client documents to client database
  • Account maintenance
    • Client address, phone or email change
    • Beneficiary change
    • Address basic client inquiries
    • Deliver checks to Fidelity branch
    • Address client inquiries regarding website access or visibility
  • Client correspondence
  • Correspond with insurance companies for policy servicing / maintenance
  • Data entry into Advyzon (customer record system)
    • Tag new client accounts to model
    • Tag new client accounts to billing
  • Providing back up support to Investment Team on queues during periods of high call volume
  • Assist across various ad‑hoc projects and operational issues as and when required
Qualifications:
  • Degree in finance, economics, or business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must have experience supporting multiple professionals at the same time
  • Experience with Docu Sign
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Strict attention to detail, strong work ethic, integrity, ethics, and ability to take direction
  • Ability to handle situations and clients professionally and with a high level of diplomacy
