Data Research Analyst

This role is remote, based out of the West Coast - US.

This role reports to:
Director, Data Management.

Key Accountabilities:

• Utilize proprietary software to annotate and structure SEC filings.
• Review public filings and press releases for financial disclosures and standardize, database, and maintain the information.
• Collaborate with team members to establish reporting requirements and to ensure data integrity.
• Work on special projects throughout the year that help improve the breadth, depth, and accuracy of our data.
• There are periods of higher volume each quarter that require the ability to work beyond the standard 40 hours per week, which is overtime eligible.

Must have(s):

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Accounting (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, finance, or a related analytical field (open to recent graduates).
• A foundational understanding of stock market principles and a genuine interest in the investment landscape.
• Exceptional data entry accuracy with a “zero-error” mindset and a sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to prioritize high-volume tasks and manage multiple projects under tight market deadlines.
• A high degree of initiative and the ability to exercise independent judgment when navigating complex data.
• Ability to be flexible and work within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; thrives in both collaborative team settings and independent deep-work sessions.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) preferred.

Salary Range: $45,000 USD - $50,000 USD. Please note that the salary range included is a guideline only. The salary offered may vary based on factors, including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
