Lead Teller

Position Overview

As a Lead Teller within PNC’s Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Ann Arbor, MI at the Huron Parkway branch. The role involves coaching, mentoring, and leading tellers to deliver a unique customer experience, improve customer financial wellbeing, and increase share of wallet. • Coach, mentor, and lead tellers to provide excellent customer experience.
• Process a variety of customer interactions and identify banking opportunities.
• Educate customers on alternatives, options for managing financial transactions, and PNC products.
• Lead lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products.
• Conduct clear communication, transaction handling, and problem resolution.
• Assist the Branch Manager with performance management and new-hire selection.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and demonstrate sound judgment within established limits.
• Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.

Successful candidates must demonstrate the following:

• 1+ year of related experience in a teller or customer service role.
• Knowledge and competencies in customer focus, risk management, coaching, communication, fraud detection and prevention, and the use of technology.
• Ability to identify opportunities, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

No degree, certification, or license is required.
