Position Overview
As a Lead Teller within PNC’s Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Ann Arbor, MI at the Huron Parkway branch. The role involves coaching, mentoring, and leading tellers to deliver a unique customer experience, improve customer financial wellbeing, and increase share of wallet. PNC is an in‑office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture.
Responsibilities- Coach, mentor, and lead tellers to provide excellent customer experience.
- Process a variety of customer interactions and identify banking opportunities.
- Educate customers on alternatives, options for managing financial transactions, and PNC products.
- Lead lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products.
- Conduct clear communication, transaction handling, and problem resolution.
- Assist the Branch Manager with performance management and new-hire selection.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures and demonstrate sound judgment within established limits.
- Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
Successful candidates must demonstrate the following:
- 1+ year of related experience in a teller or customer service role.
- Knowledge and competencies in customer focus, risk management, coaching, communication, fraud detection and prevention, and the use of technology.
- Ability to identify opportunities, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
No degree, certification, or license is required.
