Corporate Associate (Senior) – Ann Arbor

We are searching for a senior associate to join our Corporate group in our Ann Arbor office. The ideal candidate would have experience with start-ups and emerging growth companies, seed and venture capital financings, and mergers & acquisitions.

We are seeking motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative attorneys who are excited about working with clients in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem. Depending on your experience, your practice at Gunderson would involve a mix of counseling founders, executives, and VCs, and representing companies and investors in venture financing, growth equity, and M&A transactions. You will have significant client contact daily, and must be comfortable interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.

• Previous large law firm experience required.
• Candidates must be admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of Michigan.
• Experience working with emerging growth companies and funds.
• Experience in M&A, venture capital financings and/or growth equity financing transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued.
