The Manufacturing FP&A team partners closely with Supply Chain and manufacturing leaders to provide financial insights that support operational decision-making across Amway's manufacturing network. Working with facilities in Ada, Washington, and Buena Park, the team helps evaluate business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support strategic investments through data-driven analysis. The team combines financial planning and analysis with growing data and analytics capabilities, creating opportunities to solve complex business challenges while gaining firsthand exposure to manufacturing operations.
Interns gain visibility to both day-to-day financial support and high-impact project work that influences business decisions.
The Summer 2027 Supply Chain FP&A Intern will partner with the Manufacturing Finance team on important business projects focused on enhancing the organization's data and analytics capabilities. Potential areas of focus include evaluating make-versus-buy opportunities, developing scenario-based financial tools to assess manufacturing and sourcing decisions, and creating reports and dashboards that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of monthly financial processes. The intern will leverage operational, financial, and manufacturing data to identify key cost drivers, generate actionable insights, and develop scalable analytical solutions.
The project will be designed to address real business needs and provide recommendations that support decision‑making across Amway's manufacturing and supply chain network. In addition, the internship will provide hands‑on exposure to the responsibilities of a Manufacturing Financial Analyst, including financial analysis, forecasting, business partnering, and operational performance management.
Example #1 - Financial Modeling & Scenario Analysis
- Develop analytical tools that help business leaders evaluate manufacturing and sourcing decisions. Create scenario‑based models to assess the financial impact of inventory levels, production strategies, and supply chain investments.
- Analyze production volume, operational performance, and financial results to identify trends, opportunities, and key cost drivers. Present insights and recommendations that support improved business performance and decision‑making.
- Support efforts to standardize reporting across multiple manufacturing and agricultural operations. Leverage data from diverse systems to build dashboards and reporting solutions that improve visibility, enable meaningful comparisons, and enhance decision support capabilities.

Academic Eligibility:
Undergraduate students who will have completed their junior or senior year by the start of the internship and will remain academically active through the internship, with an anticipated graduation date between August 2027 and April 2028.
