Diagnostic Medical Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a part‑time diagnostic medical sonographer to join our team! We are a busy urology practice with several urology clinics located throughout mid‑Michigan. We are looking to hire a sonographer to work 2‑3 days per week at our Hillsdale, Jackson and Oaklawn offices. Chosen candidate will be offered a competitive salary based on experience.

• Proficiently operate ultrasound equipment to perform ultrasounds of the kidneys and bladder, scrotum, and prostate. Accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
• Review the patient's medical record to obtain necessary clinical information including patient history, lab results, and radiology reports.
• Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and assist with procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic information.
• Accurately identify and label/annotate images. Communicate results of diagnostic examinations to the interpreting physician.

• Work effectively with others and actively contribute to morale and teamwork.
• Communicate with patients and caregivers using excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adhere to department, facility, and organization policies and protocols.
• Prioritize, work independently, and manage simultaneous assignments.
• Be flexible in schedule and adapt to change.

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited sonography program.
• Credential in abdominal sonography and registered sonographer by the ARDMS.
