Position: SIMULATED PAT INST (TEMP)
Responsibilities
* Responsibilities include simulating a human patient case, with guidance from the UMSN CLC faculty providing feedback for health providers at multiple levels (undergraduate, postgraduate and practicing providers) related only to their interpersonal communication skills. Additional responsibilities include responding to email messages promptly, demonstrating professional behavior and accountability for actions, working as a team and keeping commitments to the UMSN CLC.

Required Qualifications
* * High school graduate or GED.

* Must have prior experience in healthcare simulation. Certification as a standardized patient is preferred.

* Candidate must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to receive and convey information clearly and concisely for various mediums. Must have very strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

* Comfort with their own body and examinations by health professions student(s).

* Ability to work well with diverse populations.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

* Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different work situations and hours.

* Ability to recall an encounter accurately for the completion of checklists and written materials during practice sessions and assessments where learner is receiving feedback.

* Lack of bias towards the healthcare system.

* Must be able to work independently as well as effectively in teams.

* Punctuality and reliability in attendance.
