Position: BMC2 Intermediate Project Manager
Job Summary

The BMC2 Project Intermediate Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives that advance cardiovascular quality improvement across the state of Michigan. This role applies project management, relationship management, and systems design expertise to support three core areas of work: the Michigan Cardiac Rehab Network (MiCR), multi-registry publication coordination, and the development and management of internal relational data systems.

Working closely with the BMC2 Project Manager, statisticians, quality leads, and external collaborators, the Project Intermediate Manager translates strategic priorities into executable work plans, builds systems that support collaboration and transparency, and ensures timely, high-quality deliverables across BMC2s PCI, Vascular Surgery, and Structural Heart consortium.

Responsibilities
* Airtable Development and Support

* Design, develop, and manage an internal relational database in Airtable to support project tracking, publication coordination, and consortium engagement.

* Translate complex workflows into structured, scalable data systems that connect projects, collaborators, timelines, and outcomes across registries.

* Build and maintain electronic intake forms, dashboards, and reporting tools to streamline project submission, review, and tracking.

* Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity to support reliable reporting and institutional knowledge retention.

* Use database insights to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous process improvement.

* Provide training, documentation, and consultative support to promote adoption and effective use of internal tools.

MiCR Leadership & Coordination

* Serve as the primary project manager for MiCR, a statewide collaborative focused on advancing cardiac rehabilitation utilization, access, and quality.

* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for MiCR initiatives, including statewide meetings, collaborative learning activities, surveys, and quality improvement projects.

* Coordinate communication and engagement across diverse stakeholders, including cardiac rehabilitation programs, clinicians, health system administrators, and external partners.

* Support implementation of the MiCR strategic plan and initiatives aligned with the network?s triad framework of data benchmarking, collaborative learning, and dissemination of best practices.

* Plan and execute statewide meetings, webinars, and conference presentations, including agenda development, speaker coordination, logistics, and post-event follow-up.

* Translate stakeholder input and emerging priorities into actionable projects that address barriers, improve participation, and strengthen statewide collaboration.

* Contribute to internal and external communications, including website content, blogs, and presentation materials, to elevate MiCR?s visibility and impact.

Publication Coordination

* Coordinate manuscript development, internal review, and submission processes across multiple BMC2 registries (PCI, Vascular Surgery, and MISHC).

* Serve as a liaison between investigators, statisticians, quality leads, and BMC2 leadership to facilitate efficient project progression from concept to publication.

* Track publication status, milestones, and deliverables to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to timelines.

* Identify and implement process improvements to reduce bottlenecks, improve communication, and increase consistency across registries.

* Ensure projects align with institutional policies, authorship guidelines, and internal review requirements.
