Certified Clinical Educator

A company is looking for a Clinical Educator (Remote).

Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver educational programs for hospitals with high error rates in inpatient coding and medical necessity determinations Analyze review findings to identify trends and education needs related to coding and documentation Maintain educational materials and provide training on CMS medical necessity standards and documentation expectations

Required Qualifications Demonstrated inpatient coding experience, including ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Current coding certification, such as CCS, CIC, or equivalent Minimum of three (3) years of inpatient hospital coding experience, including DRG assignment Strong knowledge of medical necessity criteria and Medicare billing requirements Proven ability to educate adult learners on complex coding concepts
