This full-time role calls for professionals skilled as School Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). You’ll make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as they achieve their communication and academic goals.

Preferred candidates will already hold a Michigan SLP license, but those able to obtain licensure in time for the new school year will also be considered. Your dedication and expertise will support a diverse caseload spanning elementary to high school levels.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current or pending Michigan SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to the school year)
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting is advantageous
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to fostering student growth and advocating for inclusive education
• Openness to candidates at the CFY level

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations using standardized assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
