Overview
IT Support Technician – Grow your IT career with hands-on experience across modern technologies. TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join a growing organization in Ann Arbor, MI. WhatYou’ll Do
- As the go-to IT support resource, provide end-to-end technical support and ensure an outstanding user experience.
- Serve as a primary support resource for help desk and desktop support
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Manage and resolve tickets while maintaining SLAs and best practices
- Own new hire onboarding, including account creation and equipment setup
- Support Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, VDIs, and tablet platforms
- Provide Active Directory and Group Policy support
- Support business applications, SaaS tools, and collaboration platforms
- Troubleshoot and support MDM solutions
- Maintain and support standard and custom system images
- Assist with server, networking, phone systems, and VPN access
- Document solutions and help improve IT processes and standards
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when needed
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in IT support environments
- Windows and macOS desktop support
- Active Directory and account management
- Office 365 and G-Suite support
- SaaS applications (Okta or other SSO, Slack, Zoom, Jira)
- MDM platforms (JAMF, Kandji, or similar)
- Ticketing systems and queue management
- Network and hardware troubleshooting
- VPN and access support
- Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices
- Passion for technology and continuous learning
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Organized, accountable, and proactive
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
