** Program Summary

*** Job Summary
***
* Roles and Responsibilities:

*** Review Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and paper Technical Manual (TM) Work Packages for accuracy
* Edit XML and graphic files when necessary
* Attend Team meetings internally and with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as required
* Log comments related to the IETM or TM and submit them to OEM for changes
* Track review progress and deficiencies in SharePoint
* * Travel is required for this position (50-70%)*
* ** This is a TEMPORARY POSITION until September 29th, 2026, with possibility of becoming permanent

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable technical field (an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
* 5 years technical writing/editing experience
* Experience with XML authoring and editing for Technical Manuals
* Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Security Clearance to be considered for position.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Familiarity with Interactive Authoring and Display System (IADS) viewer for Electronic Interactive Technical Manual (IETM)
* Knowledge of the Validation and Verification processes for Army Technical Manual development and fielding
* Experience using, editing and creating IETM’s and paper Technical Manuals
* Familiarity with mechanical drawings and data
* Willing to learn new things and to pass knowledge on to others
* A Team Player – teamwork is an essential requirement for this position
