Senior Product Manager, GenAI; Operations

Job Responsibilities

• Business Partnership & Problem Discovery: Partner with Global Operations and functional business teams to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities. Identify and prioritize business problems that can be effectively addressed through AI‑driven products and solutions. Translate operational challenges into clear product opportunities, value hypotheses, and success metrics.
• AI Product Leadership: Own the AI product vision and roadmap for assigned operational domains. Lead the definition, development, and delivery of AI‑powered products in collaboration with IT, data, and engineering teams. Drive early‑stage prototyping, proof‑of‑concepts, and pilots, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and adoptable in real‑world operation.
• Cross‑Functional Execution: Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on goals, scope, and outcomes. Collaborate with IT and architecture teams on solution design, technology selection, and integration into existing systems. Guide prioritization decisions and trade‑offs based on value, risk, and operational impact.
• AI Expertise & Innovation: Serve as subject‑matter expert for AI technologies, techniques, and trends in operations (generative AI, machine learning, agentic systems, automation). Continuously explore emerging AI tools, platforms, and approaches, assess applicability, and provide thought leadership on responsible and effective use of AI.
• Community Enablement & Evangelism: Build and enable an internal AI community within Global Operations and across the company. Share best practices, lessons learned, and reusable patterns to accelerate AI adoption. Support education, awareness, and collaboration around AI initiatives through workshops, forums, and informal coaching.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Experience leading or managing digital, analytics, or AI‑driven products in an enterprise or operational environment.
• Strong ability to work with business stakeholders to frame problems, define value, and drive alignment.
• Hands‑on experience with AI or advanced analytics concepts (machine learning, generative AI, automation, data‑driven products).
• Proven track record to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast‑evolving environments and driving ideas from concept to execution.

Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.

Base Pay Range: $ - $ annually. Primary location: USA‑MI‑Ann Arbor.
