Program Analyst - Data Security

Role Overview

Information Protection & Compliance Consultant position focused on the end-to-end implementation of Proofpoint’s Information Protection Suite for large-scale enterprises.

• Engage with customers to understand their structure and workflow and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Drive complex implementations, configuring products (Email DLP, Cloud DLP, Endpoint DLP, DSPM, AEDLP) to meet information protection and compliance requirements.
• Recommend configuration options and policies, assist with testing, monitoring, and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, sales, product management) and external partners to track and resolve customer issues, ensuring timely project completion.
• Mentor other PCMS resources to improve their technical, project‑management, and customer‑management skills.
• Define and document best‑practice techniques, processes, templates, and architectures for the managed services team.

• 2+ years experience in Professional Services Consulting or a similar role, preferably within Data Loss Prevention.
• Extensive knowledge of Information Protection and Compliance, including configuration of dictionaries, Regex, and detector‑based logic.
• Hands‑on experience with Proofpoint Email DLP, Cloud DLP, Endpoint DLP, DSPM, and AEDLP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge in Regular Expressions and the ability to present technical concepts to senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customers in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and influence skills; ability to work independently and adapt quickly.
• Experience supporting Fortune 500 or large customers.
• BA/BS degree or higher in a related field.
