DevOps Engineer Architect or Lead

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering, be proficient with Kubernetes, and be familiar with AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your expertise in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, along with a deep understanding of container orchestration, will enable you to build and maintain scalable, highly available, and self-healing  addition to your technical skills, you possess strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Lead and mentor the Dev Ops team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Oversee team performance, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high productivity and professional growth.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for Dev Ops initiatives, setting clear goals and milestones.
• Implement Kubernetes best practices and tools used for deployment, auto-scaling, disaster recovery, and zero downtime.
• Architecting solutions for performance, scalability, security, high availability, and cost management.
• Improving existing Dev Ops tools and pipelines to enhance productivity and reliability.
• Deploy monitoring tools and security integrations within our infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage container-based applications on multiple cloud platforms
• Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems for containers.
• Build scalable, highly available, and self-healing systems.
• Integrate monitoring tools and security features.

• 7+ years of experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Strong background in coding and experience with converting existing code to run within a Kubernetes cluster.
• Proficiency in setting up monitoring, error handling, and debugging functionalities within Kubernetes clusters.
• Proven experience in an Operations/Dev Ops role.
• Ability to work in a fast paced start-up environment with a hands-on approach to get things done.
• Expertise in designing and managing distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud services like EC2, ECS, VPC, ELB, S3, Cloud Formation/Terraform, Lambda, IAM, and databases (Dynamo
  
  DB, RDS).
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes best practices.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience working with customers in a support and maintenance capacity is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD) are a plus.
