The Design and Discovery department at the University of Michigan Library is looking for a Front-End Developer. You would create and maintain high-quality, efficient, and accessible user interfaces across the Library’s websites. Projects include building and evaluating interfaces (legacy interfaces and interfaces we are creating, licensing, or planning to license) and consulting with developers, designers, and groups outside of Library IT.
You would report to the Web Applications Team Leader within the Design and Discovery department. You would also be responsible for matters adjacent to front-end development. Examples include conducting digital accessibility reviews, and managing properties and reports in an appropriate web analytics product.
