What’s special about this team:

The Digital Product Design team is responsible for shaping the user experience behind many of Amway's most important digital products and platforms. The team designs and improves the user interfaces for experiences such as the global commerce platform, the Amway Plus app, MyBiz, employee-facing solutions, and other digital products used by Business Owners and employees around the world. By combining UX/UI design, user research, content strategy, and emerging AI-powered design tools, the team ensures that Amway's digital experiences are intuitive, engaging, and effective for users globally.

Their work directly supports Amway's success by helping hundreds of thousands of users interact with the company's products, services, and business tools every day.

For an intern, this team offers the opportunity to design experiences that can impact users across the globe while working alongside an experienced, internationally distributed team of designers, researchers, and content specialists. You'll gain hands-on experience creating new digital experiences from the ground up, explore cutting-edge AI design tools, and contribute to products that are actively used by real customers and business owners.

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success:

• In this role, you will help advance the team's digital design initiatives by contributing to design system enhancements, supporting product improvements across existing platforms, and participating in the development of new digital experiences. They will collaborate with designers, researchers, and developers to create user-centered solutions that can scale across multiple products and platforms while gaining exposure to enterprise-level design practices and tools.

An example of a typical project would be:

Example #1

• Design and enhance components within Amway's enterprise design system, helping create reusable elements that can be used across websites, applications, and digital products throughout the organization.

Example #2

• Partner with product teams to improve existing experiences such as MyBiz, Amway Plus, or commerce-related platforms by designing new features, refining workflows, and enhancing usability.

Example #3

• Contribute to the design of new digital products or capabilities, such as event management experiences or other emerging solutions, by creating concepts, prototypes, and user experience recommendations.

Required skills and background:

• Desired Majors: Human Computer Interaction Degree

Academic Eligibility: Undergraduate students who will have completed their sophomore year and will be entering their junior year by the start of the internship, with an anticipated graduation date between May 2029 and April 2030.

Technical

Skills:

• Figma – this is where we work 100% of the time.

• Ability to build a component in a way that is reusable for all designers.

• Nice to have – Allasian experience Jira and Confluence

• Nice to have – Use of AI design tools (Claude Design or others)

Soft Skills:

• Ability to present and communicate your work and your thought processes well.

• Curious mindset coupled with an openness to learning and feedback.

Your pay rate within the posted range will be based on your completed class year at the start of the internship program. Amway’s recruiting team will confirm your applicable rate during the recruitment process.
