$40.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Can work in Jackson, Grand Rapids, or Metro Detroit locations. Hybrid 2-3x/week.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for material planning from three years out to the fulfillment of independent work orders, specifically in the electric commodities space. Prefers a strong background in electric commodities and experience with SAP-based planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage plans for specified materials categories, such as electric and gas meters, wiring, and other critical materials.Optimize SAP data management and review demand signals in SAP to ensure accurate forecasting.Maintain the status of incoming orders and ensure demand visibility.Work closely with warehousing and storeroom teams to ensure smooth operations and timely movement of materials.Monitor and respond to exceptions in supply chain processes.Track purchase orders and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and order fulfillment.Plan and report on materials that require extra care and attention.Collaborate with field personnel in storeroom and warehousing operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment and tracking.Top Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles.Proficiency in SAP for planning and data management.Experience working with storeroom and warehousing operations.Ability to monitor and respond to exceptions in supply chain processes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in the electric commodities space.Proven ability to manage and optimize SAP data.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Seniority level
