Services Assistant & Driver

Overview

Assist in the food production and maintenance of the commercial kitchen. Interact with clients and community sites for coordination and quality assurance. Ensure safety of food by maintaining appropriate food temperatures and following routing. Maintain temperature logs internally and at sites.

• Ensure food safety by maintaining appropriate temperatures and following procedures; maintain temperature logs.
• Ensure safe operation of vehicles by following maintenance schedules, checking vehicle condition daily, reporting issues, and keeping fire extinguishers and first-aid kits accessible.
• Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Use time effectively by following the daily schedule and responding promptly to calls from the office.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain documentation standards by timely completion of required records and reports for all assigned clients.
• Demonstrate flexibility by accepting and adapting to unexpected changes in a courteous and professional manner.

• Valid Michigan Driver’s license (Chauffeur’s License preferred).
• Clear driving record: no DUI, no felonies, and no more than 3 points.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Personal automobile insurance coverage with necessary limits.
• Good customer relation skills.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand written materials.
• Ability to communicate with clients and sites.
