Job Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for regular cleaning of specific areas and special cleaning as needed. The role includes preparing empty rooms for new admissions and ordering supplies for the facility. Responsibilities also extend to maintaining safety and infection control protocols.
Responsibilities- Know and observe fire and safety regulations, and apply infection control policies.
- Assist during facility emergencies (e.g., cleaning carpets after flooding) and prepare for special events.
- Maintain assigned areas clean to meet Eisenhower Center standards.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures regarding chemical usage and infection control.
- Perform special cleaning assignments such as windows, light fixtures, floors, and other housekeeping tasks.
- Manage time efficiently to complete duties and scheduled breaks.
- Clean all client rooms, baths, showers, staff offices, therapy rooms, and public areas daily.
- Clean floors, shampoo carpets, wash walls, clean woodwork.
- Polish furniture in common areas and polish door plates.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Food Service, and Rehab staff to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift and move items.

Pay rate: $17
