Drybar Charleston is hiring a Shop Manager / Lead Stylist who is equally passionate about guest experience, team leadership, and business performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to lead a shop like it’s their own
, deliver ah-MAY-zing blowouts, and build a team that wins.
As Shop Manager, you are responsible for:
- Running smooth daily operations
, and - Driving the business forward through strong leadership, coaching, and KPI execution.
You will lead the shop to achieve monthly goals in:
- Client count
- Revenue
- Add-on %
- Membership growth
- Retail sales
- Labor efficiency / productivity
- Build a culture of accountability, hospitality, teamwork, and pride
- Coach stylists and FOH team through consistent feedback and follow-up
- Lead shop huddles, daily coaching moments, and weekly leadership rhythms
- Set expectations clearly and handle performance issues professionally
- Lead by example — positive, calm, solution-oriented
- Own the shop’s KPIs (client count, revenue, add-ons, memberships, retail, labor)
- Build weekly execution plans to hit goals (not “talk about it,” but execute)
- Track performance daily and take corrective action fast
- Create a coaching plan for underperforming KPI areas
- Perform Drybar services with excellence
- Support peak flow by taking clients during busy shifts
- Coach behind the chair: speed, quality, add-ons, rebooking scripts
- Ensure consistent service execution and Drybar standards
- Schedule to demand and protect payroll
- Manage supply ordering, shop standards, cleaning + presentation
- Maintain brand standards, guest satisfaction, and safety/compliance
- Handle guest recovery when needed with warmth + confidence
- Active cosmetology license (required)
- 2+ years salon leadership experience preferred (assistant manager, lead stylist, educator, etc.)
- Strong communication + coaching skills
- Comfortable with goals/KPIs and not intimidated by numbers
- A leader who is consistent and emotionally steady
- Passionate about service excellence + driving results
