- Production Scheduling:
Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing workflow and resource utilization. - Materials Planning:
Monitor inventory levels, forecast material needs, and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. - Inventory Management:
Oversee production inventory flow, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished instruments, to ensure accuracy and availability. - Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and materials usage; generate reports for management review and ensure all timesheets and related documentation are properly stored in compliance with legal recordkeeping requirements. - Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all production and material handling activities comply with OSHA and company safety standards. - Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution:
Assist with thorough inspections of unfinished instruments upon receipt, before production, and after setup to ensure all components meet quality, safety, and workmanship standards. Identify and communicate any inventory or production issues, and support corrective action plans to resolve operational challenges. - Production Preparation:
Prepares materials for daily instrument production runs by gathering strings, printing and organizing paperwork for each technician, and working alongside IPC staff to pull and stage instruments on racks for the production team to setup and assemble. - Resource Coordination and Process Documentation:
Coordinate with departments to ensure materials and resources are available to meet customer delivery deadlines, while developing and maintaining clear process documentation for inspections, scheduling, instrument returns, and repair scheduling to support consistent and efficient operations. - Ability to work varied hours.
- Regular and routine onsite attendance required.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, materials planning, or manufacturing operations, preferably in a musical instrument or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in inventory management, forecasting, and production planning principles.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) required.
- Familiarity with the music industry or musical instruments is a strong advantage.
