Group/Division
The Semiconductor Process Control (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds, sells, and supports a comprehensive product portfolio that ensures high‑quality production of chips powering AI, data centers, automotive, and other electronic devices. Semi PC combines inspection, metrology, and data analytics to detect defects and variations across the semiconductor ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Understand customers’ characterization requirements and provide solutions using KLA’s optical and interferometry techniques.
- Conduct product and measurement demonstrations.
- Prepare and present quotes to customers and close sales efficiently.
- Provide technical phone support for installed systems and train customers on key technologies.
- Assist with business development, qualifying new applications, markets, and customers.
- Author white papers, product application notes, and technical papers for conferences.
- Travel up to 25% as required.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering, with a background in optics.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills for effective technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Deep understanding of optical properties of materials and light‑matter interactions.
- Minimum two years of customer‑facing experience in thin‑film deposition, metrology, or surface characterization.
Master’s level degree with no related work experience; or bachelor’s level degree with two years of related experience.
Compensation & BenefitsBase Pay Range: $72,600.00 – $ annually
