Job Description – Tarp ManufacturingRoll Rite, a Safe Fleet company, is looking for a Tarp Manufacturing Associate to work with a team that manufactures complete tarp systems and assembles automated tarp systems. The associate will partner with others to produce Roll‑Rite systems according to company processes, performing and assembling components for tarp fabrication.
Duties and Responsibilities- Processing parts.
- Operate industrial sewing machine, grommet machine, miller roller welder, kabar welder and floor welder.
- Read a tape measure, use hand tools and semi‑automatic manufacturing equipment.
- Must be able to read manufacturing prints.
- Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
- Routine daily cleaning and equipment maintenance.
- Confirm quality of product.
- Prepare product for shipment including packing and labeling products.
- Maintain product workspace.
- Ability to cross‑train in other areas and departments.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper personal protective equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED; and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language AbilityAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one‑to‑one and small group situations.
Math AbilityAbility to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s; perform these operations using fractions.
Reasoning AbilityApply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a climate‑controlled manufacturing/warehouse facility. The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. Noise level is occasionally loud. Physical dexterity is required; the employee must sometimes lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Physical DemandsRegular use of hands and arms; occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, talking or hearing. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
