- Set up and operate CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes per customer specifications, internal sketches, and Cell Lead instructions.
- Prepare tooling and work holding packages; verify first-article conformance before proceeding.
- Continuously monitor quality, adjust tool/wear offsets, and maintain appropriate coolant levels.
- Deburr parts, complete in-process inspection forms, and prep for subsequent operations.
- Escalate program or part issues to your supervisor immediately.
- Install hardware—standoffs, helicoils—after geometry is approved by Quality; perform additional assigned tasks.
- Keep your area safe, tidy, and organized in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
- High School diploma or GED; 18+ years of age.
- 3–5 years of CNC Mill/Lathe setup and operation;
Haas experience preferred. - Capability with Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers; multi-axis (up to 5-axis) preferred.
- Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and other hand metrology tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T accurately.
- Comfort standing for long periods and thriving in a fast-paced, challenging setting.
- Experience across varied materials: steel, aluminum, stainless, plastic, titanium, copper, brass, etc.
- Solid math aptitude; reliable attendance; adaptability; strong work ethic.
- CAD/CAM familiarity is a plus; hardware installation experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency preferred.
