Position: CNC Mill/Lathe Setup Technician (Multi-Axis Preferred)

What you’ll do
  • Set up and operate CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes per customer specifications, internal sketches, and Cell Lead instructions.
  • Prepare tooling and work holding packages; verify first-article conformance before proceeding.
  • Continuously monitor quality, adjust tool/wear offsets, and maintain appropriate coolant levels.
  • Deburr parts, complete in-process inspection forms, and prep for subsequent operations.
  • Escalate program or part issues to your supervisor immediately.
  • Install hardware—standoffs, helicoils—after geometry is approved by Quality; perform additional assigned tasks.
  • Keep your area safe, tidy, and organized in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
What you bring
  • High School diploma or GED; 18+ years of age.
  • 3–5 years of CNC Mill/Lathe setup and operation;
    Haas experience preferred.
  • Capability with Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers; multi-axis (up to 5-axis) preferred.
  • Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and other hand metrology tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T accurately.
  • Comfort standing for long periods and thriving in a fast-paced, challenging setting.
  • Experience across varied materials: steel, aluminum, stainless, plastic, titanium, copper, brass, etc.
  • Solid math aptitude; reliable attendance; adaptability; strong work ethic.
  • CAD/CAM familiarity is a plus; hardware installation experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency preferred.
