2nd Shift Zund Operator

Location: Benton Harbor, MI

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual as a 2nd Shift Zund Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the Zund cutting machine to produce high-quality products according to specifications.

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate the Zund cutting machine to produce parts and products as per job specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, making adjustments to the machine as necessary.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the Zund machine, including cleaning and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• File Management: Load and manage digital cutting files, ensuring correct alignment and material usage.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any maintenance performed.

• Previous experience operating a Zund cutting machine or similar equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
