Marketing Intern

Are you a master of content creation, looking to join a team of in-house creative and communications professionals? Do you get excited about storytelling and brand development across social media and other communication platforms?

Granger Construction is looking for a Lansing-area college student to join our Marketing and Communication team for a full-time (40 hours) paid position. This role will work primarily out of the Lansing Headquarters, with some travel to jobsites and off-site events.

This role will support Granger Construction's Marketing and Communications team with a variety of internal and external content projects, including:

• Social Media
• Video/Photography
• PowerPoint Presentations
• Newsletters
• Events
• And more ...

Specific responsibilities will be determined based on need, opportunity and the individual applicant's interests and skills.

• The ideal candidate will be a Lansing-area college student, with skills and interest in pursuing a career in advertising, communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants who are juniors or seniors nearing graduation.
• Candidates should have demonstrated experience creating and managing content for business social media accounts across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Linked In and You Tube. Other experience creating digital/multimedia content is preferred.
• Proficiency working with Microsoft software is required and experience with Adobe creative software (like InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere) is preferred.
