Job Summary

The BMC2 Communication Specialist will support the planning, coordination, and execution of key program deliverables for BMC2 and related cardiovascular registry initiatives, including the new Heart Failure Quality Improvement Program. Reporting to the BMC2 Community Engagement Director, this role will manage timelines, work plans, documentation, tracking tools, shared resources, and cross-functional workflows to ensure program priorities are completed accurately and on schedule.

The position will collaborate with leadership, clinical faculty, analysts, program staff, participating sites, trainees, and external partners to support registry initiatives, meetings, webinars, conferences, stakeholder activities, engagement tracking, and process improvements. This role will also assist with translating clinical, research, quality improvement, and registry information into clear deliverables - including reports, presentations, newsletters, web content, event materials, and program updates - for varied audiences.

Project

Management and Deliverables Coordination
  • Execute day-to-day coordination of program deliverables for BMC2 and related cardiovascular registry initiatives, including the new BMC2 Heart Failure Quality Improvement Program.
  • Track milestones, deadlines, dependencies, barriers, and follow-up items to support timely completion of program materials and project deliverables.
  • Support planning and execution of special projects, including trainee opportunities, registry-related initiatives, and other program priorities.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to workflows, templates, documentation, and recurring deliverable processes.
Program Materials, Content, and Digital Resources
  • Execute the preparation, drafting, editing, coordination, and distribution of program materials, including reports, presentations, newsletters, web content, stakeholder updates, annual reports, webinars, and digital resources.
  • Ensure deliverables are aligned with organizational voice, style, branding, formatting, and quality standards.
  • Maintain and update BMC2 and related registry websites to ensure content is current, organized, accessible, and useful to internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate multimedia deliverables, including editing video content and uploading presentations or related materials to organizational platforms such as You Tube or similar channels.
Registry, Research, and Quality Improvement Dissemination
  • Coordinate dissemination activities and deliverables related to BMC2 data outcomes, quality improvement initiatives, research publications, presentations, collaborative achievements, and program milestones.
  • Translate clinical, registry, research, quality improvement, and program information into clear materials for professional, stakeholder, and public-facing audiences.
  • Work with faculty, analysts, program staff, and leadership to gather, organize, review, and prepare content for reports, presentations, web updates, newsletters, and other dissemination products.
  • Maintain awareness of publications, presentations, registry developments, and program accomplishments to support timely communication and dissemination.
Events, Webinars, and Stakeholder-Facing Activities
  • Coordinate deliverables and logistics for in-person and virtual events, webinars, collaborative meetings, conferences, stakeholder presentations, and educational sessions.
  • Prepare agendas, registration materials, presentation decks, handouts, promotional materials, post-event summaries, and follow-up communications.
  • Track event-related timelines, deliverables, attendance, engagement metrics, and follow-up action items.
  • Support BMC2's presence at professional events and conferences by coordinating materials, displays, presentations, and related program resources.
Metrics, Reporting, and Process Improvement
  • Track engagement across web, email, social media, webinar, video, event, and other digital platforms.
