Whitneyville Fellowship Church is seeking an energetic and motivated pastor with a heart for servant leadership and outreach, and a deep personal commitment to Christ and His church. This individual should have a vision for expanding the ministry’s impact in the surrounding community and will actively engage, alongside church members, in outreach opportunities that foster relationships and spiritual growth. As God grows the ministry, there is a long‑term desire for this role to become a full‑time position.

We are a Bible-based, non-denominational church of approximately 20 parishioners located in Cascade Township, Michigan, southeast of Grand Rapids and have been a part of this community since 1953. We are blessed with a close-knit congregation eager to support and collaborate with their pastor in sharing the message of salvation with new generations.
QualificationsWe are seeking a pastor who is:
- Strong in his personal faith and has a clear calling to pastoral ministry
- Able to meet God’s qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and 1 Peter 5:2-3
- Experienced in Biblically-based teaching and preaching, able to bring the Word of God to life in Sunday sermons in a way that helps listeners apply it to their daily lives
- Warm, approachable, and relationship‑driven, with a genuine passion for fostering meaningful connections
- A worker‑involved leader, energetic and passionate about reaching people for Christ within our church and the community
- Deliver Christ‑centered sermons Sunday morning and evening that are personal and engaging, teaching Biblical truths in context that speak to those new to the Word as well as the mature, using the KJV Bible
- Work with worship leaders to plan effective worship services
- Be an active presence at Wednesday night services and church gatherings, leading and connecting with the congregation
- Provide vision and leadership for expanding the ministry’s impact in the surrounding community, fostering relationships and spiritual growth
- Participate in board meetings, offering regular monthly updates on ministry activities (Administrative and financial responsibilities will remain under the purview of the church board)
- Serve communion during the church service at scheduled times throughout the year
- Visit with the congregation as time allows, including sick calls and hospital visits
- Officiate at special occasions in the lives of the congregation, such as infant dedications, baptisms, church membership observances, weddings, and funerals
