GENERAL
Under the direction of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager or Clinical Coordinator, the Registered Nurse provides patient care, handles intake and discharge processes, and may serve as a Case Manager for a group of assigned Wound Care Center patients, depending on the center’s setup.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation
Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing (ADN) required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience
Previous wound care experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic computer skills; strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Licenses / Certifications / Registries
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas with renewal as required by law; BLS. Medical/Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care certification preferred.
OTHERSPersonality / Interpersonal Skills
Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.
