Memory Care Support Partner – Part Time

Location and Compensation

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Schedule:

Wednesday and Thursday, 7:00 am–7:00 pm.

Pay: $18.50–$20.75 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Advocate empathy: understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
  • Observe patients: discover residents’ interests and abilities, collaborate to create engagement plans, implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
  • Master the mise en scène: set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms for routines.
  • Act as a life partner: partner with residents to achieve daily life milestones from wake to sleep.
  • Document resident care accurately and track changes in condition.
  • Assist orientation of team members assigned to memory‑care neighborhoods.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive, energetic attitude; love residents.
  • Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
  • Able to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and help after a fall.
  • Criminal history cleared.
