Responsibilities- Provide culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based care models for Primary Care OB/GYN patients.
- Perform phone triage (including OB intakes), assessment, screening, clinical advice, nurse visits (in person/video), in-clinic hands‑on procedures, and other duties assigned.
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient OB/GYN clinic, including prenatal, postpartum, gynecologic, and family planning visits.
- Accurately and efficiently document nursing care and use internal and external resources appropriately.
- Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and community services to promote continuity of care.
- Demonstrate critical thinking through the nursing process, problem‑solving skills, and priority setting.
- Show excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, and ability to build respectful relationships.
- Maintain accountability, dependability, good attendance, and punctuality.
- Adapt to changing needs and priorities at the unit, department, and institutional levels.
- Provide patient and family education on chronic conditions, including pregnancy/postpartum, well‑woman health, and pre/post‑operative care.
- Proficient in typing and electronic health record documentation.
- Manage complex clinical issues using assessment skills, protocols, and evidence‑based interventions.
- Adapt to different populations (pediatric and adult) as patient demands; training provided for new subspecialties.
- Valid Michigan RN license.
- Three years of RN experience in OB/GYN medicine, maternal‑child health, or labor and delivery within the last seven years.
- Two years of experience performing non‑stress tests within the last seven years.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.

Desired Qualifications- BSN.
- Certification in ambulatory nursing.
- Ambulatory phone triage experience.
- Experience in gynecologic specialties, particularly post‑operative follow‑up and care.

Hourly RateHourly range for Registered Nurses: $41.78–$64.81 per hour.
- Evening Shift Differential: $3.00 / hour
- Night Shift Differential: $4.00 / hour
- Day Shift Weekend Differential: $2.90 / hour
- Evening Shift Weekend Differential: $5.90 / hour
- Night Shift Weekend Differential: $6.90 / hour
- Charge Nurse Differential: $1.00 / hour

Work Schedule- Hours per week: 40 hours.
- Shift/Hours/Days:
Day Shift;
Monday–Friday, variable hours; weekends and holidays as needed. - Location:
OB/GYN departments at Brighton Health Center, Chelsea Health Center, East Ann Arbor, Briarwood Building 2, and Canton Health Center, with potential to work at other locations. - Hours may be variable (non‑traditional) based on clinic needs.
All new employees will be expected to float to designated unit(s) during times of low census.
