We're seeking a passionate and driven Full-Time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Gynecologic Oncology team located in Ann Arbor & Brighton, Michigan

- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Board-certified as an NP or PA
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Michigan
- Prior experience in oncology, women's health, or surgical specialties preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
A typical day may include:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with gynecologic cancers, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments and follow-up visits
- Manage symptoms and treatment‑related side effects, including chemotherapy and supportive care (in collaboration with physicians)
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborative care planning
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs
- Coordinate care across specialties, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, and supportive services
- Support quality improvement and clinical initiatives within the practice
- Perform other clinical duties as needed to support the practice and patient population
- Review and manage chemotherapy and biotherapy treatment plans based on current guidelines (e.g., NCCN).
- Complete pretreatment assessments and clearance for chemotherapy.
- Verify chemo orders for accuracy and safety; collaborate with pharmacy and infusion RNs.
- Monitor patients during infusions for hypersensitivity reactions and toxicities; initiate immediate interventions and elevate care when needed.
- Manage urgent infusion‑related issues (e.g., reactions, extravasations, uncontrolled symptoms).
- Reinforce education on treatment cycles, side effects, at‑home monitoring, and when to call or present to the ED.
