The Main OR Pre Op/PACU is a 38-bay (20 Pre Op, 18 PACU) department at Trinity Health Ann Arbor’s Level 1 Trauma Center, housing 20 operating rooms that average 50 cases daily. The mission is to provide the highest quality care during surgical preparation and recovery, caring for inpatients and outpatients across a broad spectrum of elective, urgent, and emergent services including Acute Care Surgery, Colorectal, General Surgery, Cardio-Thoracic, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, Urology, Gynecology, Oncology, Vascular, and off‑shift Endoscopy.
Staffing is supported 24/7 by department‑based Anesthesiologists. The unit is a Certified Joint Center of Excellence and a Robotic Center of Excellence.
Shifts Available:
Varied shifts
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR)
- Certified Perianesthesia Nurse (CPAN)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Degree: BSN, or agreement in writing to obtain a BSN within five (5) years from the date of hire, or transfer to an RN role.
- Current Michigan Nursing License.
- BLS certification.
