We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position:
Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Registered Nurse in Ann Arbor, MI.
- Required
Certifications:
BLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate - Required Skills:
Administration of blood & blood products, Antepartum, Antihypertensives, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post‑op, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Bladder assessment/Foley catheter insertion, Breast feeding instructions, Breast Milk Collection and Storage, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Episiotomy/ incision care, Fundus/ lochia/ perineum care, High Risk Antepartum, Infant Identification, Insulin drips, IV Antibiotics, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Metabolic Screen, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, NST (Non Stress Tests), Opioids, Antiseizure, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Multiple Births, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Pain assessment & management, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Reflex checks/ edema assessment/ clonus, Use of PCA (IV), Phototherapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Post-epidural management, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Starting and maintaining IVs, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Vaginal Delivery
