American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position at a teaching hospital requiring 2 years of PACU experience and an active Michigan RN license.

• Work in the PACU unit of a hospital setting
• Rotating 10-hour shifts with start times of , , and
• 2-4 weekends required per contract
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

• Active MI RN license required in-hand at time of consideration (compact license not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• 2 supervisory references required (charge nurse references not accepted)
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions; allergy-free option available for those with allergies

• Provide pre- and post-operative recovery care to surgical patients across a wide range of specialties
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Traveler pairs are not accepted
• No pre-hire modules required; required modules completed onsite during orientation
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration with no time off allowed during the first week of the contract
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the last 12 months are not eligible to apply
• Permanent staff may return as travelers after a 1-year separation
