Registered Nurse - Oncology
This is a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift position.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with oncology experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in managing chemotherapy infusion patients and be prepared to complete the necessary training to administer vesicant and non-vesicant chemotherapy. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for oncology patients.
- Administer chemotherapy under the appropriate guidelines.
- Monitor patients undergoing chemotherapy for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care.
- Active RN license.
- Completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course preferred.
- OCN certification is a plus.
This is a 13-week contract position.
